Segway of Oakland Service Packages!

Segway of Oakland and Bay Area Segway announces their new Segway maintenance service package. “Segway scooters are a unique 2 wheeled scooter that has slowly gained popularity over recent years due to media coverage and exposure,” said Steven Steinberg, co-owner of Segway of Oakland. “Segways are commonly used by security personnel at malls and airports because of their reliability, speed, and convenience, and for recreational activities, some of which includes Segway Polo, Segway Racing, and Segway Tours.”

Segway of Oakland has been servicing these unique vehicles for longer than anyone else in Northern California, and is now offering two service packages that charge a single price for each service bundle. The 4 star service package for the i series, XT or X2 will cost $225 (and is recommended for Segways that are under 3,500 miles), and the 5 star service package for the i series, XT or X2 will cost $350 (and is recommended for Segways that are over 3,500 miles). The 4 star service package will include a series of inspections and replacements, and the 5 star service package will include the same, and much more.

Steinberg continued, “Whether you choose the 4 star service package, or the 5 star service package, there will be many essential services that you can count on. We’ll inspect your Segway’s tire’s pressure, inspect the rims for damage or wear and tear, check out the rider detection on your Segway, check the platform for any leaks, inspect both of your battery’s voltages, the battery’s case and gasket, replace the battery fasteners, and more!”

Segway of Oakland offers service for all models of Segway scooters, and will even provide service for rental fleets and commercial units. Segway of Oakland has also been offering Segway services of this kind for longer than everyone else in Northern California.

Steinberg continued, “I think this service package will really help out Segway owners, because we will have experienced Segway technicians inspect the damages, and or the worn parts on their Segway that they may not even realize is damaged or worn out. And of course these parts should be kept in good condition, or else they may become safety risks. If you ever think that there is something wrong with your Segway, or if it just doesn’t feel right to you, just give us a call today and see if we can help make your Segway look and feel brand new!”
